Powerful Leadership Presence

A one-day collaborative workshop designed for leaders to discover their personal advantages. Participants use a strength-based approach to work with others, and apply what they have learned to their responsibilities. The emphasis of Powerful Leadership Presenceā„¢ is equally on the ‘being’ part of leadership as it is well as the ‘doing’ of leadership

The ‘being’ part of Leadership Presence is who you are as a leader. This is discovered through increased self-awareness of your positive traits and characteristics. The ‘doing’ aspect is the other essential concept which manifests your individual strengths through action and decision. Powerful Leadership Presenceā„¢ facilitates a happy marriage of these elemental spheres of leadership.

This program is based on innovative research which shows that people are motivated to work to their full potential when they operate from a position of strength. Yet most people are not fully aware of their strengths.

People who participate in Powerful Leadership Presence:

Identify their unique fingerprint of strengths, skills and competencies

Create a simple plan to operate from these strengths

Define their own personal profile of power so that they may lead from a position of confidence and courage

Learn about how their presence impacts others

Prior to attending the workshop, participants complete a panoramic feedback survey about their leadership style. This includes specific feedback from colleagues. They also complete a strength-based assessment tool.

The day-long workshop is devoted to exploring the nature of “power and presence” as key components in leadership. In addition, participants engage in dialogue with others about their individual leadership strengths and challenges. At the end of the workshop, participants prepare a written plan outlining their Intentions and actions when back on the job.
